To support this growth, RIMECO is looking to recruit new International oriented traders for its trading operation in Aabenraa, Denmark.Key responsibilities
Reporting directly to the management and working as an intrinsic element of a dynamic team, the role will encompass the following responsibilities:
- High level negotiations with new and existing customers
- Management of day-to-day trading activities with customers
- Development and management of a profitable new business pipeline
- Regular and accurate reporting of trading activities in line with personal and Group targets
- International travel responsibly representing the business and the RIMECO brand.
Applicant requirements
The successful applicant will have the following background and skill sets:
- Experience within the scrap or shipping industry, or commodity trading market.
- A confident individual with excellent communications and interpersonal skills for building relationships and managing the complexities of negotiating
- Commercially minded with the ability to generate sales leads and close new business
- Highly analytical with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in a fast paced environment
- A performance-orientated individual with the ability to set targets and measure results from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective
- The ability to understand the issues and trends driving the scrap & steel industry and how they affects customers’ businesses as well as day-to-day trading activities
